The New Parking Permits are a Gimmick!

You may have gotten an email from the Board or seen a notice about new parking permits. Notice the dates and times that permits will be distributed:

September 23rd, 2022 10am-7pm

September 24th, 2022 10am-2pm

September 26th, 2022 10am-7pm

September 27th, 2022 12pm-6pm

Hmmmm….. these dates and times seem to coincide with an upcoming election we have on September 27th, 2022 at 7pm, no? Is that a coincidence?

Of course not!

The Board wants you to come into the office so they can intimidate and coerce you into giving them their proxy. Maybe even sign something that looks like a proxy.

Don’t fall for it!

In fact, if the Board even attempts to do this, they are once again in contempt of court. As a reminder to the Board, this is from the Order filed on August 11, 2022 at 2pm:

4. The Association and its Board of Directors are further enjoined from communicating about the Board of Directors election outside the purview of the appointed Custodian.

5. Board members may perform electioneering activities as individuals but may not communicate or electioneer as the Board of Directors.

The entire order follows this letter.

Save Lisle Place has overwhelming support. We already have signed proxies from more than 46% of the complex. If we get more than 50%, the election is over before it starts.

The first thing we will do is hire a professional management company for a third less than what we are paying Inga! We will have a fully electronic, cloud based system for payment, property registration, parking, service requests, financial transparency, document sharing, communication, collaboration, etc. with mobile capabilities.

For the first 60 days we will suspend late fees for assessments due to the change in collections and suspend parking enforcement until the new system is in place. Do not worry about new parking permits, and do not visit the office until after the election. This will all be taken care of when we most likely transition to a new Board.

We only need about 8 more proxies to wrap this election up! Please reach out to your Save Lisle Place representative and give them your proxy if you haven’t already. We are almost there!
